Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Anxiety and Depression

 

Dr. Rami Nader is a registered psychologist in North Vancouver, British Columbia. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of British Columbia and has specialized clinical training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. He was one of the first psychologists certified in cognitive-behavioral therapy by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (www.cacbt.ca). In addition to his private practice, he is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, teaching and training clinical psychology graduate students in cognitive-behavioral therapy and medical-legal assessments.

He has extensive experience in diagnosis, assessment and cognitive-behavioral treatment of a range of clinical problems, including:


a) Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
b) Generalized Anxiety Disorder and excessive worry
c) Obsessive-compulsive Disroder (OCD)
d) Panic Disorder with and without Agoraphobia
e) Specific Phobias
f) Depression
